The score sheet, without the paper
At the end of a hand of cards, there’s always a moment of confusion: who took it, how many points, does that bonus count? With the Buzzloo score counter, one person enters the round and the site does the math by the rules of the game. The scoreboard shows up on every phone at the table, live: no more shouting totals or hunting for a pen that works.
It knows the rules of each game
- Belote, the classic French card game: the team that took the trump, its points, belote-rebelote, declarations and capot. The site works out on its own whether the taking team made its contract, and holds the points of a tied hand for the next one. It’s all on the page about belote scoring.
- French tarot for 3, 4 or 5 players: contract, oudlers, the attackers' points, petit au bout, poignées and slam, with the scoring of the French Tarot Federation. The details are on the French tarot page.
- Rummy, Skyjo and Uno: each round’s points, the doubling for the player who ended the round in Skyjo, and the other players' hands going to the winner in Uno. The rules of rummy, Skyjo and Uno are explained game by game.
- Yacht dice: one sheet per player, the 35-point bonus once the upper section reaches 63, and crossed-out boxes. See the Yacht dice score sheet.
- Free scoring for every other game: the highest or lowest total wins, with a target score or a number of rounds if you like. That’s the score sheet for any game.
One person keeps score, everyone watches
Whoever creates the game holds the pen: only they can enter points. They can hand over the pen to someone else with a separate link, and take it back whenever they want. Everyone else follows the scores on their phone without touching anything. Before a round is confirmed, the site shows how it worked out the score. Made a mistake? Undo the last round, or fix a name.
At the end, the rematch
The winner shows up big, with the full ranking. Share the result with the group, then start the rematch with the same players: same names, any game you like. Your group keeps a history of its games and shows who wins most often, with each player’s number of wins.
Before you start
To decide who deals first, pick a random order. To make belote teams without any arguing, make random teams. And to end the evening with a quiz, bring out the quiz buzzer: our guide to hosting a quiz night has the whole running order.
Nothing to install, no account, no email address: first names are enough. A game is deleted 30 days after its last round, and a group’s history 6 months after its last game. Skyjo is a game published by Magilano and Uno is a trademark of Mattel: Buzzloo has no connection with either of them, its score counter simply adds up your points.
